We have been made aware that certain companies are targeting CLEAN GULF exhibitors and attendees to secure hotel rooms through them. Our official housing partner is Connections Housing and all legitimate housing updates will come directly from the CLEAN GULF team or Connections Housing. These third-party companies are attempting to contact our customers claiming to provide official accommodations but they are not affiliated with the brand and we cannot guarantee their legitimacy. The only way to ensure you are booking rooms in our official hotel blocks is to book directly from the links and/or phone numbers listed on our website. Connections Housing/CLEAN GULF will never call you directly to book your hotel room.
Should you be contacted by someone other than Connections Housing or CLEAN GULF then it is a scam and we ask that you inform us immediately.

Centrally located in the heart of downtown Houston, the George R. Brown Convention Center is easily from all areas of the city- no matter how you choose to commute. There are several convenient parking options on campus located just a short walk from the convention center.

Houston has two major airports you can choose from – Houston Hobby Airport and the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. More information on each airport and transportation options to the Convention Center can be found here.
Things to Do and How to Get Around Houston
Getting Around Town
If you don’t want to rent a car, there are multiple ways to easily get around town. Taxi service, Uber and Lyft are available. There is also a rail system and Metro bus system if you prefer public transportation. More information can be found here.
What to do in Houston
Downtown Houston has a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from or you can take a 5-10 minute ride share to other parts of the city to try out Houston’s popular food scene!
Extending your stay? Venture out to Galveston, check out Space Center Houston, visit the Houston Zoo, or one of our wonderful nearby parks. Memorial Park, Buffalo Bayou Park and Hermann Park offer wonderful retreats from the bustle of the city.
